The Monroe High School Athletic Department is excited to announce Bob Reynolds  as the Hornets next Head Boys Soccer, Coach pending approval by the Monroe Local Schools Board of Education. 

An experienced Head Coach and veteran educator, Bob Reynolds takes over for the Hornets after serving most recently as a Junior Varsity Coach at Mason High School the past two seasons. In total, Reynolds has over 16 years of interscholastic coaching experience including 9 years as a Varsity Head Coach and 7 as Junior Varsity Head Coach. 

Additionally, Coach Reynolds has 18 years of coaching experience at the club level, has served as a District Coach in the U.S. Olympic Development Program and directed and ran various youth and coaching clinics. Bob Reynolds holds a United States Soccer Federation Level “C” Coaching License. 

Shared Coach Reynolds, “I am excited to lead this outstanding soccer program and hope to continue the success the team has had over the last several years. Coach Oster has built a fine program that is well respected across the state and I feel fortunate to step into a role in which a solid foundation has been established."

On what to expect from the Hornets under his leadership, Coach Reynolds explained, “I will strive to develop players' technical skill and tactical understanding of the game, as well as develop them as young men. As an educator, I want my players and students to grow as individuals in a well-rounded manner and while wins and losses are important, I also want them to learn the valuable life lessons that sports teach us. On the field, we want to play the beautiful game with possession, skill and finesse and I look forward to leading this program towards those goals."
