Based upon the Winter Storm Watch forecasting possible rain turning to ice and snow, Monroe Local School district is considering the option of a two-hour early release from school on Fri. Jan. 12, 2018.

Kindergarten registration packets may be picked up beginning February 1, 2018, between 9 AM and 3 PM, at Monroe Primary School. Students must be 5 years old by August 1, 2018, to register for kindergarten.
The Monroe Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Monday, November 27, 2017, at 6:00 PM in the high school auditorium. The Board will be sharing information about the anticipated construction of a new school building.

After School Karate Club will be offered by Martial Arts America and sponsored by the Monroe Primary PTO. The after school program will feature 4 classes at Monroe Primary from 3:45-4:30 and the 5th class will be held at Martial Arts America.
The School board meeting at 7 pm and fall sports banquet at 6 pm are both still on as scheduled. Varsity practices are permitted, contact your coach for more details.

Trunk or treat will be held in front of the high school on Friday from 6-6:45 pm before the final home football game of the season. Bring Candy or come in costume to enjoy trick-or-treat before Senior Night against Preble Shawnee.

The Holiday Shoppe will run December 10-14 at the Elementary School. The “Shoppe” will be open 9:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. during Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 8.
