Monroe High School will be holding TWO College Credit Plus (CCP) Information Sessions in January.
Any student who plans on participating in CCP during the 2020-21 school year, needs to attend one of these two sessions with a parent.
To any student who wants to take College Credit Plus courses this summer or next school year (2018-19): the CCP Intent Form is due to the counseling office by April 1st, 2018.
Monroe's annual College Credit Plus (CCP) meeting will be on Thursday, January 18th at 6pm in the high school auditorium.
Any student who wants to participate in CCP next school year (2018-19) needs to attend this meeting!
All sophomores at Monroe High School will be taking the ACT Aspire on November 14th or 15th. Click the attached link to read a parent letter with more information on the ACT Aspire.
On Thursday, December 1st, the high school counselors will be hosting a Senior College Application meeting in the Media Center at 5 pm. This is for any senior and/or senior's parent who would like help with college applications.
The guidance counselors are meeting with Juniors to go over information that will help prepare them for senior year and life after high school!

Sophomores will be taking a field trip to Miami University Middletown on April 15th to take the ACT Aspire Field Trip. Forms must be turned into homeroom teachers by Monday, April 13th.

Students and parents interested must attend one of the two mandatory meetings listed to learn about the CCP Program.
The Middletown Community Foundation will conduct two scholarship information programs for parents of seniors onTuesday November 11 and Thursday November 13 at 7:00 pm at the MCF offices

We will be partnering with the orginization TorchPrep to offer a free practice ACT test to all of our Juniors this year on Wednesday, October 8th.
Your son or daughter will bring home a permission form, please have them return it by September 26th.
There are two college fairs coming up! One will be held at the Duke Energy Center downtown on Sunday, Sept 14, and another at Miami University Middletown on Sept 17.
Miss Stenger will be meeting with Seniors this Friday, Sept 5th during their English classes.
If you are a Senior who is currently in the PSEO Program (taking English IV at MUM) then you will meet during 1st period in Mrs. Frye's room, E205.
If you would like to talk with a counselor about making a change to your schedule, you will need to sign up for a meeting time between 9am - 1pm on Aug. 9th, 12th, 13th.
Students will need to turn in their PSEO applications to the Guidance Office by April 24th in order to guarantee that they will be returned to the students before the deadline.
