Staggered start details for the 2023-24 school year

Monroe Local Schools will observe a staggered start for the 2023-24 school year. Bus transportation will begin Wednesday, Aug. 16. *Please note that schedules may differ between grade levels and buildings. 
For students attending main campus (grades 2-12):
Monday, Aug. 14 - First day for staff Wednesday, Aug. 16 - Only last names A-K Thursday, Aug. 17 - Only last names L-Z Friday, Aug. 18 - First day for all studentsFor kindergarten and first grade students:
Wednesday, Aug. 16 - Only last names A-G Thursday, Aug. 17 - Only last names H-P Friday, Aug. 18 - Only last names Q-Z Monday, Aug. 21 - First day for all studentsPreschool families will receive communication from their teacher regarding their student's first scheduled day (either Wednesday or Thursday).
