Immunizations required for 7th grade
Important Immunization News for Parents of 7th Graders for the 2025-26 School Year
The Ohio Department of Health requires all students to show proof they have received a Tdap vaccine (Tetanus, diphtheria, acellular Pertussis vaccine) AND MCV4 vaccine (Meningococcal) before starting 7th grade. Please provide your child’s Tdap AND MCV4 immunization records to the school clinic by May 16th, 2025 or prior to the first day of 7th grade. Students not in compliance with immunization laws must be excluded from school according to the guidelines of the Ohio Department of Health.
Tdap and MCV4 vaccines may be administered by your child’s doctor, urgent care offices, Kroger Little Clinics or local health departments. See additional information below. To schedule an immunization appointment at the Butler County Health Department, please call (513) 887-5253.

- Clinics are available year round
- Online scheduler is available for use to pre-register and organize
- There is no set minimum for participants
- Availability is wide open!
