School Board Takes Action on Demolition and Site Improvement Plans Lemon Monroe High School
The Monroe Local Schools will be holding an informational meeting to share with our community the process and timeline for the demolition of the old Lemon - Monroe High School. The Board of Education recently approved the hiring of Reclaim Company L.L.C. to complete the abatement and demolition project. After months of community input, community surveys and design work by the District's architectural and engineering team, the Board is excited to share the project highlights to the community.
On February 24, the District will hold an informational meeting at the Monroe High School Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting will be to review the timeline for the demolition, and answer questions about what the site will look like upon completion. We will also share some of the site logistics during the construction. We look forward to sharing this information with our community.
