Chickenpox

The health department has advised that parents be notified of a case of chickenpox that occured at the Junior/Senior High School.  Chickenpox causes a rash that blisters, then scabs.  If your child develops a rash, please consult your child's doctor for a diagnosis and any needed treatment.  Students with chickenpox must remain at home for 6 days after onset of the rash or until all blisters scab over.  Attached is more information on chickenpox.  Please contact the school clinic if you have any questions. chickenpox (PDF)
