Last week fifth and sixth graders attended a presentation where they learned about tolerance. Justin Bachman, a junior from Solon High School, visited the school to share what it is like to be different. He has faced many challenges throughout his life and has turned those experiences into positives for others. He and his family have created a non-profit organization called Honor Good Deeds. He has received numerous service awards including the 2013 Peace First prize and a Volunteer Service Award from President Barack Obama. He challenged the students to join him in his acts of kindness. All students were to do 2 acts of kindness within five days.
Thanks to our student volunteers!
