Eleven Hornet Athletes Make College Commitments

The Monroe High School Athletic Department celebrated the commitments of 11 Hornet Athletes that will be continuing their academic and athletic careers at the intercollegiate level in a special College Signing Ceremony on Friday, May 3, 2019 in front of their family and friends.

Monroe High School Athletic Director Eric Silverman shared, "this is the culmination of a journey that included many years of hard work, dedication, commitment and sacrifice by all of the student-athletes that are making their college commitments today. These students should be commended for their pursuit of excellence both in the classroom and in their athletic endeavors. Each one of these outstanding student-athletes are a prime example of what can be achieved when you put in the hard work and chase your dreams. We're extremely proud of each one of them and look foward to following the bright future that is ahead of them!"

With 11 student-athletes making their commitments on May 3, brings the total number of Hornets from the class of 2019 who will continue their athletic careers at the inter-collegiate level to 12 joining Tyler Hendricks (Football-Dennison University) who made his college commitment in a ceremony on February 6, 2019.
