Hensley Earns District Championship In High Jump Event

On a gorgeous day at Dayton's Welcome Stadium, Monroe High School Freshman Jenna Hensley made history for the Hornets Track and Field Team.

With a jump of 5'51/4" Hensley capture the OHSAA District Championship in the High Jump event while setting a new Monroe High School Record. The previous record had been set by Amy Brittain in 1988 with a hight of 5'5". 

Jenna qualifies to next weekend's OHSAA Regional Meet on May 25 and May 27 at Piqua High School.
